The Benefits of Fish Oil Capsules

Increasing your daily intake of fish oil is linked to the following benefits:  healthy brain function, immune system development, digestive support, circulatory health, anti-aging benefits, and even cancer prevention.  The best fish oil is found in cold water varieties of fish, such as salmon, halibut, tuna, mackerel, and sardines.  These contain the most powerful, concentrated form of essential fatty acids to support health.

Before you buy any fish oil pills make sure the label clearly states the concentration of omega 3 EPA and DHA per recommended serving.  The manufacturer’s website should state what types of fish are used, the origins of the fish, whether the fish is tested for disease and toxins, and what parts of the fish are used.  Consult with your doctor or nutritionist to determine the correct dosage for you.

Omega-3 essential fatty acids provide many health benefits if taken on a regular basis.  At recommended dosages, omega 3 essential fatty acids have been shown to help keep cholesterol levels low, stabilize irregular heart beat (arrhythmia) and are also crucial in preventing damage from unhealthy fats such as saturated fats in red meat and dairy, and trans fats found in many prepared or fast foods.  Increasing your intake of healthy fats may help in losing weight because foods rich in Omega 3s will help you feel satisfied.  You won’t crave fattening carbohydrates, sugars and other foods laden with unhealthy or trans fats.

PERFUMES and INCENSE

Most people may value perfume only as an addition to their personal toiletry. We also can appreciate it on others or enjoy a pleasing scent in the garden or the general atmosphere. But perfume possesses other qualities not so quickly recognized.

Aromas improve our quality of life by the additional of beautiful perfumes or can harm us by the destructive power of chemical or traffic fumes. As bad odours cause negative responses in our brain and nervous systems, inhalation of pleasant perfumes and flower essences of natural origin have a positive enjoyable result, stimulating the sense of well being and protective influence so fundamental to our psyche.

Science offers clear demonstration that perfumes of natural essences and essential oils can counteract negative states of the body and mind. Pure essential oils are in increasing demand as they are shown to be effective in the treatment of many ailments.

Not only by personal use of perfume, but by appropriate quality fragrances being released into the atmosphere through burning as incense offer a wonderful influence in any environment.
Burning incense sticks is now commonplace in western as well as in eastern societies.

The value of nature’s oils and perfumes is beginning to be fully researched in the emerging  science of Osmics. Aromatherapy is now a common therapeutic option included as one of the modalities used in natural therapies. It is finding tentative application in orthodox medical science and psychology.

Thoughts on Fluoride

Fluoridation of the public water supplies of developed countries has always been a controversial issue.

Calcium fluoride occurs naturally in greater or lesser amounts in various countries and locations. In consequence many support the argument that it is not always a missing element in human food and water and therefore there is no reason for introducing it at random. The wiser alternative is to obey the rule of any attempt at medication and to relate to the individual. This can be done by taking fluoride tablets with opportunity to control specific doses. This is particularly important as infants are the target market for the alleged purpose of improving dental health.

So why do we consider tolerating a general medication in our public water supplies?

The case against fluoridation intensifies as we become aware of the dangers. The public has never been educated as to the risks to health as the focus remains upon the teeth only. But what about the side effects that can cause other health problems? We would be best to make our own study to become informed here. So we have to consider the matter for ourselves but as fluoride is claimed to dull brain function and if we drink a lot of water we get a lot of it, what are we to do?

I worry about my family as the internet lists approximately 460,000 posts on one aspect of the side effects alone with accent on the toxicity and queries about carcinogenic properties. So it is reasonable to be cautious about taking a chemical that gives us more health problems.

Based upon the principle of mass medication, fluoridation remains an important controversial health issue.

Explore this issue as well as others that stress the neccessity to retain individual freedom of choice,
